The original concept of my company was planted way back in 1985 by my father, who at that time had been in the coach touring business for the previous 21 years. His interests also lay in steam railways and as a young man in the Royal Tank Regiment he became associated with vehicles made by A.E.C. "The Associated Equipment Company". This Association continued in one form or another all his working life and over this period of time a great deal of respect was created for this manufacturer. In the years after leaving the army he had been employed serving the public and the period he spent in the coaching industry gave him the possibility to travel and meet people.

In 1998 circumstances created an opening for me to carry on the tradition of my father and A.E.C. coach travel, preservation and people.

All our tours include the services of a Hostess who will devote her time to ensuring your holiday is enjoyed from the moment you are collected at home or near to your door. Morning coffee, lunches or teas are all served in Staffordshire pottery with damask table cloths. She will ensure to the best of her ability that your hotel room is to the standard we require. Most of our hotels are 3 or 4 star. Full breakfasts and 3 or 4 course dinners with tea or coffee are always included in the tour price. Meals on continental tours are to the standards of that country, many are the highlight of the tours. Your hostess will also look after your comfort during your journey.

It is our responsibility to ensure your safe and comfortable journey and to see that your luggage arrives at your bedroom door at each hotel we stay in, and along with our Hostess, let you know where you are, what there is to see and do when we arrive at our destination.

You will soon realise that Regency Road is a very unusual but exciting operation. Sometimes copied but never bettered.
